Knutsford born Susan, 62, said: “It will all be very neutral, earthy and organic.
“There will be individual pieces that are very different.
“There won’t be anything like you see on shelves anywhere else in the town.”
Interior designer Susan, who lived and worked in Majorca for seven years, will import everything from Europe.
“It will be like going into a shop in Mallorca, with Ibiza and Greek vibes,” she said.
“I only use suppliers I know whose quality is very good.
“The items will be quite edgy and modern but could fit into any home.”
Daniella, 30, from Mobberley, worked in retail before becoming a make-up artist.
She said: “I always loved make-up and had my own business.
“I specialised in bridal make-up and travelled across Europe for weddings.
“I met a lot of amazing people and travelled to beautiful places.”
After the pandemic brought her work to a halt, Daniella and her mum set up an online interior business, Robinson Interiors Ltd together.
“We have been working together for four years and get on really well together,” said Daniella.
“We’ve decided now is the time to have a retail unit.
“I will be in the shop, it’s my baby.
“I’m very excited.
“It will be great for customers to feel the weight and texture of our pieces.
“It makes such a difference for people to see you, you can build up good customer relationships and establish trust.
“Our stock will be changing constantly, there will always be new merchandise.”
Susan will continue to run her interior design business from the shop and is delighted to be working again in the town which has played an important role in her family's life.
Her grandfather moved to Knutsford from Scotland and worked at the prison which was based at the former Courthouse.
Susan, who was born in the Cranford Lodge community hospital, said: “My father Kenneth Rankin was born in Knutsford and my mother Sarah came when she was 19.
“She worked on the Tatton Estate for the last Lord Egerton.
“My first job was as a beautician at Lockwoods Chemist, where WH Smith is now.
“We had the most incredible perfumery. Chanel used to come from London to dress the window.
“I was trained by Yves Saint Laurent.”
Susan, who has been designing homes for 20 years, has celebrities and footballers among her many clients.
“I love seeing the change, people being so pleased with the end result,” she said.
“Knutsford is the perfect spot for what we are doing.
“It’s such a lovely quirky town.
“As we’ve been working on the shop, lots of people have stopped to chat and remember my family.
“My parents have both died but I know my mother would have been so proud to see our shop. She’d love it.
“Our stock is all ready go, we can’t wait to open.”
