A SUMMER of sport and team challenges has been launched for the school holidays.

This summer, Oxygen Wilmslow hosts a series of special activities from Tuesday, July 23 until Sunday, September 1.

This activity park has an interactive multi-sports arena, more than 60 trampolines, six climbing walls, a cardio wall and three storeys of soft play area.

Two special activities will be held every day, with guests able to win prizes and a place on the podium.

Based on different sports, such as athletics, gymnastics and track and field, the activities will give participants the full summer of sport experience.

All activities are also suitable for adults so families can enjoy a day out.

The Summer Send Off will mark the end of the sporty season, with team challenges, dancing, jumping and big-time fun taking place on Friday, August 23, from 6pm to 8pm.

A new summer pass costing £60 is being launched to give children one hour of active play every weekday for the full six weeks of the holiday.

A six-week six-week toddler pass for £50 allows one toddler and one adult to play together throughout the summer break.

Other packages are available.

A summer holiday club will run for three weeks.

This will include activities designed to develop balance, hand-eye coordination, strength and fitness; classroom-based tasks to support brain training and communication and challenges to build confidence and social skills.
