The church stepped in to help following the death of Margaret Kettle, owner of the former post office shop, in December 2022, just weeks after she celebrated her 100th birthday.
Work has been taking place to convert the vestry area.
A new ramp and door have been installed at the entrance.
Inside, there will be a hearing loop and space for a wheelchair.
The opening hours will be Monday 12.30pm to 5pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 2.30pm to 5pm.
The outreach post office will continue to be provided by the postmaster for Plumey.
Similar products and services will be available including vehicle tax and euros on demand travel money.
The move will bring an end to an era when it was famously known for generations as Margaret's 'Aladdin's Cave', where everything from a pin to an elephant was sold.
