A NEW general manager has been appointed at a popular Cheshire hotel which has 'gone from strength to strength' under its new owners.
Condor Hotels took over The Vicarage, in Cranage, in January after the previous ownership, Flat Cap Hotels, went into administration.
And in just six months, the historic hostelry, which is Grade II listed and dates back to the 16th century, has enjoyed a new lease of life.
Now Condor, one of the UK's leading hospitality specialists, have installed Andrew Culshaw as the new general manager of the Knutsford Road hotel.
"We are thrilled to welcome Andrew to The Vicarage," said Yvonne Jackson, the CEO of Condor Hotels.
"His extensive background in the industry and his commitment to excellence make him the ideal candidate to lead our team to new heights.
"We are confident that under Andrew's guidance, The Vicarage will continue to delight guests and exceed expectations."
Bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in hospitality, Andrew has already overseen the introduction of sell-out masterclass events and live screenings of the Euros, as well as recently acquire a new head chef.
A Condor Hotels spokesman added: "Andrew's keen eye for detail and passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences make him the perfect fit to lead The Vicarage into a new era of success.
"He very much wants to remind his customer base, old and new, that The Vicarage is business as usual and can’t wait to welcome patrons through the door.
"The team are excited for an upcoming new summer menu launch, a refreshed wine offering and plenty of pints on draught to keep customers happy and hydrated.
"Guests can look forward to an array of exciting events and culinary experiences this summer, all curated under Andrew's expert supervision.
"With his proven track record of success and dedication to providing top-notch service, Andrew is poised to elevate The Vicarage's reputation as a the destination for discerning travellers and food enthusiasts alike."
Condor Hotels have been based at both The Vicarage in Cranage and The Bridge in Prestbury for more than six months, overseeing the operations of the businesses and supporting the teams.
