THOUSANDS of visitors flocked to Tabley Showground ready to delight in every conceivable aspect of British country life.
The 186th Royal Cheshire County Show, June 18 and 19, once again provided top-notch family entertainment while maintaining its status as one of the UK’s premier showcases of farming, past, present, and future.
Organisers promise more than 3,000 exhibits of cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, horses, and poultry over two days, alongside competitions for eggs, cheese, home baking, honey, flower arranging, and crafts.
On the family fund side, visitor can expect riding demonstrations, monster truck rides, falconry, a medieval tournament, the best regional food and drink, and much, much more.
Chairman of the Royal Cheshire County Show, Alan Ford, said: “We have attractions to entertain and educate the whole family.
“The best of all the animals and birds you would see on a farm are on show, along with vintage and modern machinery and vehicles, and trade stands catering for those who want to take something home with them.
“The main ring always has an entertaining programme, ending on Wednesday afternoon with the Young Farmers’ float competition.
"We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to what promises to be yet another wonderful show.”
