A KNIFE amnesty is being held at a Knutsford garden centre today.
A police surgery will be held at Fryer’s garden centre on Manchester Road on Saturday, June 1, from 1pm to 2.30pm.
A surrender bin will be available for any unwanted sharp implements such as kitchen knives, tools, scissors, display knives or swords.

The collection is being mounted to prevent dangerous weapons getting into the wrong hands.
A Knutsford Police spokesman said: “There will be a knife amnesty bin present during the surgery for people to hand in knives they no longer use, so they can be disposed of safely, no questions asked.
“This is to reduce the amount of potential weapons being disposed of in your domestic waste bins where they could be retrieved and used in crime.”
Cheshire continues to have one of the lowest rates of knife-related offences.
