FOUR fire engines and an aerial ladder tackled a fire at a derelict building in Knutsford.
Firefighters were called to the disused property on Northwich Road, Tabley shortly before 5.15pm last night, Thursday.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled a fire on the first floor using a hose reel jet.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The aerial ladder was mobilised to help crews tackle the fire from above, where it is believed the fire had spread to loft space.
“Firefighters removed the roof tiles to search for hot spots.”
Northwich Road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
Crews from Knutsford, Lymm, Penketh and Northwich, plus the aerial ladder platform from Lymm, were at the scene for two hours.
