A DRIVER got a shock when they returned to their BMW after shopping in Sainsbury’s.
A pay and display ticket machine had landed on the bonnet of their car, leaving a dent.
The incident happened outside Sainsbury’s on South Drive in Wilmslow on Monday when a vehicle crashed into the machine.

The car park is managed by the council.
A spokesperson for Cheshire East Council said: “The council is aware of an incident in which a vehicle hit a pay and display machine at South Drive car park, in Wilmslow, causing the machine to be pushed over.
“The machine has been secured and will be put back in place and operational shortly.”
