Every week, the Knutsford Guardian publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have died.

As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Charles Gordon Phillips

The 80-year-old, of Snelson, died peacefully in hospital on April 8.

Gordon was the loving husband of Eunice, a much-loved dad of Helen and Bryan, and grandad of Chloe, Jessica, Joshua, Harriet and Charlie.

Funeral service at Birches Crematorium, Lach Dennis, Northwich, on Tuesday, April 23, at 11am. Family flowers only please, donations if wished for the benefit of Ward 9, Macclesfield District General Hospital.

Hilda Hewitt

The 100-year-old, of Knutsford, died peacefully on April 1.

Hilda was the much-loved wife of the late Albert, and cherished mum of the late Colin, the dearly loved nan of Cheryl, Alison and Steven, a loving great-nana, and great-great-nana.

Funeral service at The Birches Remembrance Park & Crematorium on Tuesday, April 23, at 2pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired for Manor Care Home Residents Comfort Fund.

Cyril Arthur Parry

The 93-year-old, formerly of Broad Oak Farm, Mobberley, died peacefully in Acorn Meadow Care Home, Lostock Gralam, on April 11. 

Arthur was the loving husband of the late Dorothy Parry, much-loved father of Susan and David, devoted grandad of Helen, Peter, and Amy, and a proud great-grandad of Tia, Alyssa, Olivia and William.
