A DRIVER clocked speeding has been banned from the road ‘due to repeat offending’.
Andrew Joos, of Holly Tree Drive, Lower Peover, Knutsford pleaded guilty to exceeding the 50mph speed limit at Manchester Magistrates Court on March 1.
The 32-year-old was caught on camera on March 14, last year, driving a Vauxhall Insignia northbound on the A34 Kingsway, near Etchells Road in Cheadle Hulme at 62mph.
Joos was fined £40 and ordered to pay £16 victim surcharge.
Magistrates disqualified him from driving or obtaining a driving licence for six months ‘due to repeat offending’.
His driving licence was also endorsed.
No order was made for costs due to ‘lack of means’.
Joos was granted permission to start paying the £56 court penalty at £50 per month starting on March 29.
His payments will be consolidated with existing accounts.
