A DRIVER caught almost three times over the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the road.
Ryan Benson, of Twinnies Road, Wilmslow, admitted having 98 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath at Crewe Magistrates’ Court on March 14.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms of breath in 100 millilitres of breath.

The 37-year-old was caught over the limit whilst behind the wheel of a Ford Mondeo on his home street in Wilmslow on February 29, this year.
Benson was banned from driving for three years.
This disqualification period could be reduced to 36 weeks if he completes a drink driving rehabilitation course by May 4, 2026.
Benson was fined £606 and ordered to pay £120 costs and £242 victim surcharge.
Magistrates took his guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
The defendant was given until April 14 to pay the £968 court penalty.
