FIREFIGHTERS attended the scene of a crash on a main route through Knutsford.
One fire engine from Macclesfield Fire Station was called to Chelford Road yesterday afternoon, Saturday, shortly before 3.30pm.
This came after Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a road traffic collision in Knutsford.
A fire service spokesman said: “Two cars were involved in a collision, causing only minor injuries.
“Crews made safe one of the cars, from which there was smoke coming following the collision.”
