ANYONE looking for work could land a new career at Manchester Airport.
More than 700 roles will be up for grabs at a jobs fair hosted by the airport next week.
Exciting opportunities will be available for people seeking a fresh start.
Anyone already working in the industry and looking for a change could discover a range of options.
Employers offering jobs in everything from airport security and hospitality to retail and driving will be be on hand to provide information.
Chris Woodroofe, managing director, Manchester Airport, said: “This is an exciting time to be embarking on a career at Manchester Airport, with an epic 18 months ahead of us as we welcome a number of new airlines and destinations, overhaul and modernise our security processes, and complete the £1.3 billion upgrade to our award-winning Terminal Two.
“We are proud to serve the north, and that isn’t just through connecting people with the places they want to go to, it’s also through the wider benefits we bring to people in the region, including creating hundreds more jobs as we prepare for another busy and successful summer.”
The event takes place at Wythenshawe Forum from 10am to 1pm on Wednesday, March 6.
More than 700 roles will be on offer, including around 270 with Manchester Airports Group (MAG), which owns and operates Manchester Airport as well as East Midlands and London Stansted airports.
Other employers represented at the fair include airlines and aviation service providers, including Jet2.com, Menzies Aviation and Swissport, as well as restaurant and retail operators such as Wagamama, Costa Coffee, Boots, The Restaurant Group (TRG) and HMSHost.
The Airport Academy, which is run in partnership by Manchester Airport and Trafford College, will also be in attendance at the jobs fair promoting its free pre-employment support programmes.
These include fully accredited training schemes for those who are on Jobseekers’ Allowance and require additional support before applying for the jobs.

Those securing roles with MAG can also take advantage of a wide range of benefits.
