SPEEDING on a motorway in Durham landed a Knutsford driver in court.
Rachel Dale, of Manchester Road, pleaded guilty at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court to exceeding a 70mph speed limit when the case was heard on February 13.
The 33-year-old was caught on camera driving an Audi on the A1 motorway between Aycliffe and Bradbury at a speed exceeding 70mph on July 12, last year.
Dale was fined £76 and ordered to pay £45 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.
Magistrates took her guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.
