Every week, the Knutsford Guardian publishes death notices and funeral announcements from the families of loved ones who have died.

As well as appearing in print, our death notice pages will remain online as a lasting tribute to the memory of those we have lost.

Ronald Frank Cheesbrough

The 97-year-old, formerly of Hartford and Plumley, died peacefully at Richmond Village Care Home, Nantwich, on February 1.

Ron was the beloved husband of the late Jean, a much-loved dad, grandad and great-grandad who will be sadly missed.

Funeral service will be held at Birches Crematorium on Tuesday, February 20, at noon.

Thomas 'Tom' Snelson

The 80-year-old died on Thursday, January 18.

Tom was the much-loved dad to Debs and partner Nick, and a caring brother and uncle.

He will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Funeral service to be held on Monday, February 12, at 11am at the Birches Remembrance Park and Crematorium.

Joan Ridge (née Hewitt)

The 93-year-old, of Knutsford and formerly Lymm, died peacefully on January 31.

Joan was the wife of the late David and mother of Alistair, Philip, Jonathan and Simon, grandmother of Jonathan, Kathryn, Andrew, Mary, William and Thomas and great-grandmother of Tegan.

Joan will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Family flowers only please, donations, if wished for Alzheimer's Society.

Jean Turrell (née Williams)

It is with sadness that we announce Jean Margaret died peacefully on January 31, aged 94, at Wythenshawe Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves behind her two children, Kate and Ross; her grandchildren, Sian, Eleanor and Henry; and her great-granddaughter, Winter.

She will be greatly missed. The funeral will be held on February 19, details from Dodgson Funeral Service, Knutsford.
