A NEW Knutsford restaurant has announced expansion plans for 2024.
Linden Stores opened restaurant and wine bar on Minshull Street in November last year.
Owners chef Chris Boustead and partner Laura Christie, a wine connoisseur, have been ‘overwhelmed’ by the welcome from the local community.

The couple plan to open an outdoor terrace, with space for 15 guests to enjoy alfresco dining and host wine tastings.
The restaurant will also be open on both Wednesdays and Thursdays from spring onwards.
Chris said: “We’ve been truly overwhelmed by the reception Linden Stores has seen in its new location so far.
“It’s great to see guests excited by o
ur unique offering and we especially love seeing families coming in to try new and exciting foods.
“The feedback we have received from guests has been fantastic and assures us that the move to Knutsford was the right decision.”
The couple have 25 years of experience in hospitality, having run several restaurants together, and moved from London to Knutsford with son Ollie, to be closer to family and friends.
Chef Chris’s seasonally focused menu utilises the best produce of the region to create unique shareable dishes while retaining an accessible price point.
Laura manages the front-of-house team and curates the wine list, which focuses on low intervention and English wines.
Making use of foraged ingredients with a minimal waste ethos, Linden Stores offers both an A La Carte menu and Chef’s Menu.
The Chef’s Menu comprises of seasonal British sharing plates for £40 per person.
So far dishes such as Cheshire smoked duck with pickled walnut have graced the menu with the house speciality dessert of chocolate and peanut butter tart becoming an instant favourite with guests.
Due to the continued popularity of the current lunch service at Linden Stores, the team have decided to open on both Wednesdays and Thursdays from Spring onwards, to capture Knutsford’s busy weekday trade.
Spring will also see the launch of an outdoor terrace, which will add seating for up to 15 more guests, ideal for al-fresco dining and enjoying the wine selection in the sun.
Laura said: “We’ve noticed an appetite for events in the area and look forward to hosting a variety of these moving forward, both privately and for the public.
“We love crafting these occasions, as Linden Stores offers the perfect setting for those searching for a unique venue with excellent food and drink”.
Having already hosted sell-out special events for New Year’s Eve and Burn’s Night, the team is currently working on a series of events, with a special Valentine’s Day menu.
A special six-course Chef’s Menu with a glass of champagne will be served at candle-lit tables for £55 per person.
Laura also plans to host regular tasting events with engaging, unique themes.
Private events have also proven popular at the restaurant already. Linden Stores can accommodate up to 70 guests for standing events and up to 35 for seated occasions.
