A COMEDY club is seeking a new venue after the Courthouse collapsed.
Nodding Dog Comedy has been holding regular events at the Knutsford hotel since early last year.
The town centre hotel sadly closed last week after owners Flat Cap Hotels went into administration.
Another line up of TV and up and coming comedians were due to be staged in one of the function rooms on Friday, February 23.
Bethany Black, Fiona Allen, Ryan Kenny and Jonathan Mayor have been booked to entertain guests.
The comedy club turned to social media this week to find an alternative venue and was overwhelmed with suggestions from local residents.
Shaw Heath Social Club, St John’s Church, The Little Theatre, The Loft, Curzon Cinema, Crosstown Bowling Club, The Hidden Barn and Lost and Found were among places people said could be ideal to host the event.
