POP stars are being brought to life in the grounds of a 1,000 acre Cheshire parkland.

Tatton Scarecrow Festival will feature a selection of famous faces over the half term holiday.

Staff and volunteers are busy upcycling lots of amazing scarecrows sustainably using old fabrics, props and wigs to entertain children.

From Beatle-mania to the Queen Bee herself, Beyonce, there is only One Direction you need to go next month.

The gardens hosts the family fun event from February 10 to 25.

Visitors can see rare breed animals down on the farm and meet costumed characters.

Tickets for the parkland, farm and gardens booked up to three days in advance offer a 10 per cent discount.

During February half term the parkland is open from 10am to 5pm, gardens from 10am to 4pm and the farm 11am to 4pm.

The festival is open every day except Mondays.
