A FREE afternoon of live entertainment is being performed to pay tribute to the town’s older residents.
Knutsford and District Lions Club will be staging their annual variety show for senior citizens at the Methodist Church, Princess Street, Knutsford on Saturday, February 3 from 2pm until 4.30pm.
The entertainment will include Knutsford Star Choir, a monologue, organist, a vocalist trio and The Lions’ comedy sketch.

Refreshments will be served during the interval when prizes for a free raffle will also be drawn.
Organiser Peter Willgoose said “The show is the Lions’ way of showing its respect for and giving thanks to local senior citizens.
“It’s completely free.
“Space is limited so please collect your tickets soon to avoid disappointment.””
Tickets can be obtained from Jonty’s Fruit and Veg Stall in Knutsford Market, Knutsford Olde Sweet Shoppe on King Street or from any Lion member.
