Around 1,000 people turned up for the spectacular lights extravaganza, hailed 'the most grandiose' so far.
Visitors were treated not only to the captivating light displays but also to a number of stalls and activities kindly coordinated by the PTA.
Families toasted marshmallows, while the school choir and the parent band, Instant Vintage, serenaded the crowd with soul-stirring renditions of festive Christmas melodies.
Head teacher Emily Armstrong said: "It was such a wonderful evening.
“Witnessing staff, children, families, and the community coming together to celebrate the start of the festive season was simply fantastic.
“The £6,000 raised from this event stands as a testament to the incredible generosity and support of our community, ensuring brighter opportunities and experiences for the students at Bexton Primary School.”
The successful evening wouldn't have been possible without the invaluable support of the event’s sponsors.
A&M Marquees provided professional lighting and marquees for the outdoor stalls, while Fryers lent their stunning light displays, enhancing the magical trail.
