A DRIVER clocked speeding has been banned from the road ‘due to repeat offending’.
Zoe Lomas, of Newton Hall Lane, Mobberley, was caught on camera on February 28, this year, driving a Land Rover on the A538 Hale Road near Acacia Avenue, Hale, at a speed exceeding 30mph.
The 46-year-old pleaded guilty at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on November 17.
The 30mph speed limit was signified by street lighting placed at less than 200 yard intervals, the court was told.
Lomas was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for four months ‘due to repeat offending’.
Her driving licence was also endorsed with three penalty points.
Magistrates issued a fine of £40 and ordered her to pay £85 costs and £16 victim surcharge.
Lomas was given until December 15 to pay the £141 court penalty.
