A DRIVER clocked speeding near Manchester Airport has been fined almost £600.
Muhammad Bilal Siddiqui, of Tabley Road, Handforth, Wilmslow, pleaded guilty to exceeding the 50mph speed limit at Chester Magistrates’ Court on November 20.
The 26-year-old was caught on camera at Poynton driving a BMW on the A555 Manchester Airport Eastern Link Road in excess of the speed limit on June 21, this year.

Siddiqui was fined £591 and ordered to pay £236 victim surcharge and £110 costs.
His driving licence was endorsed with six points.
Magistrates took his guilty plea into consideration when imposing the sentence.
The defendant was given until December 18 to pay the £939 court penalty.
