OOZING with opulence, a plush £2 million Italian restaurant has opened in Cheshire.
We joined star-studded guests for a VIP taster evening at Piccolino Grande in Wilmslow.
Real Housewives of Cheshire stars Tanya Bardsley, Rachel Lugo and Nicole Sealey and Coronation Street actress Samia Longchambon attended the launch.
Love Island stars Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad were among celebs spotted.
You can see why proud owners describe it as their ‘most decadent restaurant’ to date.
From the moment you step inside and handed a chilled glass of Moet, you feel pampered and immersed in magnificent grandeur.
No expense has been spared with chic Italian interiors of glamorous gold marble, diamond styled mirrors and terrazzo floor tiles.
A Tuscan terrace, with woven timber armchairs set beneath lush foliage, to create a relaxing outdoor feel all year long.
Even lavish loos boast gold toilet seats and spa-style restrooms with individual hand towels.
Andrew Garton, chief executive officer of Individual Restaurants, said: “We wanted to create something very special.
“This is the first of a new era.
“We want to serve high quality steaks, the best Tuscan beef in the world.
“What makes this business is the people.
“We want our diners to spend time with us, not just come for a meal, but to take them on a journey through unforgettable Italian culinary craftsmanship.”
A stunning five-course menu was full of indulgent treats as Italian waiters served authentic food from their home country with pride and joy.
The atmosphere was bursting with energy as diners explored a feast of special dishes.
Fillet steak tartare, egg yolk in truffle lemon and dressing melted in your mouth.
Yellowfin tuna tartare garnished with fennel, chives and olive tapenade was a delight to eat with sundried tomato and black olive focaccia.
Wafer thin sashimi salmon, drizzled with sesame oil, soy sauce, with cucumber and apple salsa was really refreshing.
A tortelloni dish that followed was absolutely delicious.
Pasta was filled with slow cooked beef shin and red wine, served with sage butter, toasted hazelnuts and Parmigiano Reggiano.
This was accompanied by a wild porcini and chestnut mushroom risotto with white truffle oil and parsley.
The main course of dry-aged T-bone steak was absolutely sumptuous.
This succulent meat was served with friarielli, bitter Italian leafy greens and garlic and rosemary potatoes.
The restaurant specialises in authentic Fassona Piedmontese beef sourced from the Tuscan hills of northern Italy.
You can watch the chef cooking steaks on a dramatic flaming grill in the open kitchen.
Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another thing, along came a selection of four decadent desserts.
Tiramisu, mixed berry mousse and sponge delights were so light and fluffy, they tickled your tastebuds.
Each course was paired with a delectable wine.
Lucky for me, my husband was driving so I was able to indulge.
The evening left me feeling spoilt and cossetted.
Treat yourself to a night out, you won’t be disappointed.
Soap star Samia Longchambon, dining with husband Sylvain, told the Guardian: “It’s amazing. The food is fabulous.
“We’ll definitely be coming back.”
