A BRIDAL shop has brought in liquidators.
The building formerly home to Willow Bridal Boutique in Knutsford is set to be sold off.
This comes as Campbell Crossley and Davis were appointed as voluntary liquidators to oversee the winding up of the company.
A statement of affairs submitted on November 6 said the bridal shop had debts totalling £154,986.43.
The freehold of the unit it occupied is due to be auctioned off online on December 13, with a guide price of £275,000.
Marketed by Meller Braggins, the listing states: “This excellent retail unit is situated in a prominent position in the heart of Knutsford on popular Princess Street and is surrounded by other well-known retailers including Waitrose directly across the road together with Costa Coffee, the newly opened Gails bakery and Barbour to name just a few.
“The property provides spacious accommodation over three floors and is well appointed having been used in recent years as a well-known perfumery and most recently as a bridal shop.”
It adds: “The ground floor showroom benefits from a large display window fronting Princess Street and this area benefits from air conditioning (not tested).
“To the first floor, there is a large office/further retail display area together with a kitchen whilst to the second floor, there is a further office/display area and toilet facilities.
“Outside, to the rear is an enclosed courtyard with gated pedestrian access.”
Willow Bridal Boutique moved to Knutsford in 2022, having previously been located on Wheelock Street in Middlewich.
Drink Vibes, a convenience store, opened at the boutique’s former home earlier this month.
