Hattie Cufflin, owner of Hot Cocoa, has teamed up with Hannah Lock, of Scene in Knutsford, a website that promotes the town, to run the competition.
The pair were inundated with recipe ideas and ingredient suggestions from residents.
After collating all the responses, they have created three different recipes, using various elements.
Now, they need your help, to select the ultimate winner.
Hannah said: "We had a great response to our request for ideas and some interesting suggestions came in.
"It seems Knutsford love their chocolate and we also had some more unusual ingredients put forward, such as gooseberries!"
Hattie, a talented chocolatier and pastry chef, has been developing the ideas.
Hattie said: "As well as sending in ingredient ideas, people also told us what they thought the final treat should look like.
“So we've now got to decide between a flapjack cup with different fillings, a cookie cake bar, and a chocolate nut crisp.
“We’ve had a lot of fun developing these recipes and we can’t wait to see which one Knutsford likes the best.”
Hattie and Hannah are inviting the people of Knutsford to visit the Hot Cocoa shop on King Street to choose their favourite.
Free samples of all three recipes will be available to taste between 10am and 4pm on Wednesday, November 22.
All the votes will be counted and a winner will be announced.
