A TASTE of sunshine is being revived in Knutsford as autumn’s dark wet days draw in.
The Courthouse is hosting Mediterranean Aperitivo Week until Sunday, October 29.
The event is designed to highlight European quality products through the ritual of an aperitivo, which began as a social phenomenon to end the working day.

This relaxing treat is still an integral part of Mediterranean culture.
The aim of the campaign is to showcase the unique ingredients sourced from Italy and Greece.
The products include Vermouth di Torino PGI, Pecorino Toscano PDO and PGI Costa d’Amalfi Lemon and Olives from Greece.
The Courthouse has created a signature Vermouth to serve customers throughout this week.
Bar staff will be serving their Road to Torino cocktail of Chazalettes Rosso Vermouth, Italia bitters, Italian Blood Orange Gin, Ruby Port, garnished with an orange twist.
The restaurant will also be offering a selection of snacks featuring ingredients from Greece and Italy.
The promotion is being organised by the UK Bartenders Guild (UKBG) in partnership with the Mediterranean Aperitive Programme.
A donation of £1 from every Mediterranean Aperitivo drink served during the week will be given to the Drinks Trust, a charity dedicated to the drinks and hospitality workforce.
Claudio Carozzi, president of UKBG, said: “We are excited to be partnering the Mediterranean Aperitivo Programme on this exciting project.
“Aperitivo is growing in popularity across the UK and with this campaign we hope to bring alive just why to our members.
“We are dedicated to education and training across the industry and aim to provide bartenders and restauranteurs with the knowledge they need to provide authentic aperitivo that their customers will love alongside the story behind the rituals to help to educate and engage them on a deeper level.”
