A CHESHIRE MP was guest of honour at a special event.
Esther McVey was invited to an inaugural evening event at the town's historic Courthouse by the Knutsford Women in Business group.
The Tatton MP spoke about her career and answered questions about her constituency.

She also shared her views on issues affecting female founders and entrepreneurs.
This women’s group aims to showcase the ‘best female-led businesses in and around Knutsford’.
The event provided time for networking and catching up with friends in the industry.
The group, established in 2022, hosts regular meetings.
Guest speakers have addressed a range of topics including body dysmorphic disorder, customer service, empowerment in the industry and health, wellness and the menopause.
The Courthouse provides a variety of versatile function space for corporate meetings, events, weddings and parties.
Rooms can cater for a range of occasions and visitors can make use of the bar and restaurant.
General manager Rali Valev said: “We always feel very proud to host amazing events such as the Knutsford Women In Business meet ups.
“It was great to see Esther McVey at The Courthouse for such an empowering session as she talked about her career journey. “We’ve got several exciting events in the pipeline and look forward to sharing them with the local community.”
