FOODY families in Knutsford have a rare treat in store this weekend.
Award-winning farm shop and eatery, the Lambing Shed, will be hosting customers old and new at its Birthday Barnyard Bash on Saturday, September 23.
Owners Michael, Kathryn, and Sue Mitchell and the team will be welcoming guests between 12pm and 6pm to mark eight years and counting for the much-loved rural business.
The team looks after 400 acres of prime Cheshire countryside and has a flock of 2,500 sheep and 250 beef cattle at Moseley Hall Farm on Chelford Road.
The event will include: a hog roast; live music from singer and pianist Emma Gilmour; a butchery demonstration; family-friendly games with prizes including a cream tea for two; a chance to meet the animals; and their very own Bake-off competition judged by their in-house pastry chef.
Lambing Shed director, Kathryn Mitchell, said: "We can’t wait to party with our wonderful customers.
“Pretty much everything is going to be undercover, so we’ll be going ahead rain or shine.
