This is a forensic solution that contains a unique DNA code registered to specific property.
It can be easily applied to personal possessions including televisions, computers and other expensive goods.
The product is almost invisible when applied and will not damage the property in any way.
Residents can apply for one by sending their address to lisa.gamble@cheshire.police.uk and a kit will be dropped off at their home.
