Funds raised help transform everyday experiences for patients, family and staff in the NHS, from supporting with health and wellbeing to providing toys for children’s wards or home comforts for long stay patients.
The charity has also created a new vibrant and intuitive website that has lots of information on how people can donate, fundraise and volunteer.
The website shares what the charity does, the impact it has and how the local community can get involved.
Lorraine Jackman, East Cheshire NHS Trust director of corporate affairs and governance, said: “I am delighted with the refreshed look and communications around the vital work that East Cheshire NHS Charity does.
“It works hand in hand with staff delivering our incredible healthcare services to help them go above and beyond for patients, families and staff.”
Jackie Waugh, East Cheshire NHS Trust non-executive director, said: "The rebrand perfectly represents East Cheshire NHS Charity's values and ambition, giving it a fresh modern feel to better connect with our local community and inspiring everyone to get involved in supporting the charity’s efforts of making our local NHS that extra special."
The charity rebrand was the work of marketing agency Embrace Marketing, who were entrusted to develop a brand that could perfectly capture the essence of the charity’s mission and engage the local community.
Becky Reardon, Embrace’s managing director, said: “It was an honour to oversee the transformation of such a vital local charity.
“It was our goal to create a brand that embodied the charity’s purpose, what makes the charity so special and to resonate with the local community.
“We engaged with a wide range of staff, volunteers and patients to listen to what they thought the new ‘look’ and ‘feel’ of the charity should be.
“We are very excited to see the refreshed brand come to life and spread the word about how the charity helps our local NHS services go the extra mile.”
Lily Preston, fundraising and events manager at East Cheshire NHS Trust, said: “The refreshed branding will enable us to link in with the community more than ever.
“The new website highlights the impact of the charity’s work and provides a user-friendly experience for anyone wanting to explore and discover the many ways they can help to make a difference.”
