ALFRESCO dining on Minshull Street this Saturday has been cancelled.
Knutsford Town Council made a decision to call off the event due to rain being forecast.
Scattered showers are expected on Saturday, July 29.

A Knutsford Town Council spokesman said: “This Saturday’s alfresco dining on Minshull Street has been cancelled.
“This is due to the unseasonal weather.
“Cancellation clauses mean the decision has be made now by the venue otherwise costs would be incurred.
“The next scheduled alfresco dining on Minshull Street will be August 26 and September 16.”
The first alfresco evenings were launched two years ago as part of the council’s initiative to support local businesses during the post lockdown recovery.
Families and friends are encouraged to eat and drink outside this summer at a selection of restaurants and cafes.
Town centre manager Sandra Curties said: “These evening road closures provide additional outside space to venues for their customers to enjoy the amazing food and drink Knutsford offers while also enjoying the iconic surroundings of the town centre.
“We hope these sessions are busy and give the town centre a lively continental atmosphere during the summer months.”
Knutsford Town Council has collaborated with town centre restaurants and cafes to organise road closures and allow for large scale outdoor dining evenings throughout the summer.
The next Alfresco dining event will be held on Saturday, August 26, on both Minshull Street and Princess Street.
