Wine merchants Morgan Ward and Edward Speakman are preparing to celebrate the first birthday at their new home, the second oldest building in the town.
Edward said: “We are delighted to have won.
“We would especially like to thank Rosa Gabriella, a florist from Hartford, who worked through wind and rain to bring the display to life.
“We would also like to thank all the Knutsford businesses that have taken part. The town looks fantastic.”
Florist Rosa said: “The theme of the flower show this year was the senses.
“We chose to focus on taste and smell as these are essential when drinking wine.
“All the materials used are either edible or fragrant, most are both.
“We created the display without using any floral foam which is a trickier but more sustainable way of working.”
Knutsford deputy town mayor Cllr Colin Banks and Sam Youd, former head gardener of Tatton Park, judged the entries.
Pulse of Perfumery won a new award introduced for 2023 entitled Best Floral Inspired Display.
Kanoa Living on Princess Street, who decked their window with tropical plants and flowers, won Best Small Window.
King Street Kitchen won second place for a stunning display of fresh flowers and herbs.
Pulse of Perfumery on King Street came third with their rose inspired design.
Sandra Curties, town centre manager said: “It is fantastic to see the great efforts our local businesses go to in creating stunning displays for RHS week every year.
“It adds real magic to the town centre.”
Deputy mayor Cllr Colin Banks said: "A huge congratulations to everybody.
“The standard has been outstanding.
“The time and effort shown by local business is commendable and a credit to all.
“The winner’s display was judged the best as the whole window was intricately themed and we found the fresh appearance of the display impressive.”
