A COMMUNITY freshers-style fair is returning.
Refresh Knutsford gives community groups, charities, and clubs the opportunity to showcase their organisation and recruit members.
Residents were fascinated to discover just how many activities are held on their doorstep when the first event was held two years ago.
Many people were inspired to take up new hobbies and join clubs they didn't know existed.

The event is based on the concept of a ‘freshers fair’ at university, when first year students are able to find out about all the various groups and clubs on campus.
Knutsford Town Council is now appealing to any groups wishing to take part in this year’s event to sign up before July 25.
The fair will be held on Saturday, September 2 from 1pm to 3pm in St John’s Church and Egerton Place.
It is free to exhibit.
Laura Anderson, communication officer at Knutsford Town Council, said: “Knutsford is lucky to be the home of many interesting clubs and community groups.
“We understand it can be hard for clubs to get their organisation known and for residents to find exactly what they are looking for.
“This event for is a brilliant opportunity to connect these groups to local residents and showcase what they do.”
Any group wishing to exhibit at this event can email enquiries@knutsfordtowncouncil.gov.uk before July 25.
