ISABELLA Taylor Stokes has done it again!
The Styal Golf Club starlet successfully defended the Cheshire Girls Championship trophy she won at Romiley last year when she delivered the goods again at a sunny Ringway Golf Club.
She posted a near flawless round of 73 and as well as retaining the championship trophy she brought home the trophy for the best 26 and under player.
Isabella also won a dozen balls for winning the Justin Rose/Daily Telegraphy qualifying event.
Next in was Sophie Clafton (Wallasey GC), who retained the 14 and under trophy as she finished in second place overall with 79.
Emilia Gravett (Astbury GC) was a clear winner of the Handicap Trophy with a sensational round of 61 nett.
In other results, Alderley Edge captain Alex Ridgway led from the front in the 36-hole medal for the Hospital Trophy.
He posted rounds of 66 and 70 for a 136 total to lead in from Christian Cartwright 137 and Logan Stanyer 138.
A nine-hole mixed stableford at Alderley Edge was led in by Steve Bennett 28, one more than Billy Bennett, Tom Ricketts and Philip Riley.
Styal Golf Club's women played their latest Summer Cup qualifier and Jackie Poyser romped home with 23, well clear of Mel Hill 18, and Jean Khoryati, Sue Whittle and Christine Buxton, all 15.
Styal seniors were in medal mode and in division one Steve Weaver knitted his game together to post 67, one less than David O’Neill.
Cliff Buckle was the main man in division two with 67 to finish ahead of Graham Jones 70, and Mark Robins, John Parr and David Greenwood, all 71.
The Friday Frolics at Styal were won by Jim Leonard 19, three more than Robert Coatham.
Next day it was the first round of the Club Championship gross medal and Styal juniors were on fire led by Ryan Owen 73 and Charlie Ward 74, five clear of Cole Brown.
The Styal Sunday stableford was close with Lewis Window leading in with 39, one more than Rick Worsley.
