CHILDREN are celebrating success after achieving top results at Alderley Edge Festival.
Four choirs from Wilmslow Preparatory school received awards, winning two first places and two second places.
The festival is a prestigious event that provides a platform for young musicians to showcase their talents.

The young musicians were up against competition from across the region, making their achievements even more noteworthy.
Headteacher Brandley Lavagna-Slater said: “We are extremely proud of our pupils’ achievements at the Alderley Edge Festival.
“Our music programme is an integral part of our curriculum.
“We believe that it helps to develop the pupils’ creativity, confidence and self-esteem.
“It’s fantastic to see their hard work and dedication recognised in this way.”
The school is proud to nurture every pupil’s talent, dedication and enthusiasm and believes this success is a testament to their commitment to provide a well-rounded education.
Alongside music, the school offers a range of academic and extracurricular activities, including sports, art and drama classes.
