A face painter, bouncy castles, obstacle courses and outdoor games kept children entertained.
Amanda Stoneham, owner of Compassionate Care, said: “This was the first coronation for 70 years and we wanted to provide a memorable day that all could enjoy.
“We know things are difficult for many at the moment but sponsoring the event meant all the activities were free for all to enjoy.
“The sun finally shone and it was lovely to see everyone having fun.”
Guests brought their own picnics and snacks, ice cream and candy floss from street food vendor Lolly’s Ice Cream.
Local band West Knutsford Life provided entertainment and children were treated to goody bags.
Russ Finn, of Knutsford Rugby Club, said: “We are very keen to work with and get to know the club’s immediate community.
“By offering our facilities, we raised some much-needed funds for our club as well as removing the need to apply for road closure.
“It was lovely to see young and old enjoying themselves and hope we can do this again.”
The event was organised by a committee of neighbours including Solange Martin, Sandra Curties, Hannah Franklin, Orla Flannery, Fiona Martin, Rachel Bishop, Angela McGinnes and Pam Taylor.
