A POPULAR transport festival which attracts vintage vehicle fans from across Cheshire is returning this weekend.
Sandbach Transport Festival returns on April 22 and 23.
This year, the first day of the festival – Saturday – will see trade stalls, children’s entertainment, transport-related displays, food and drink, and Music on the Cobbles bring the town centre to life.
There are plans to include a motorcycle stunt team, shine a light on the emergency services, plus Foden Trucks and ERF.
On Sunday, there will be a vehicle display and the popular parade, but food and drink will still be available, plus Music on the Cobbles.
The main festival takes place between 10am and 4pm on both days, with Music on the Cobbles running from 1-9pm on Saturday and 12-4pm on Sunday.
The festival will be hosting local singers and artists. Headliners include Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Coldplay tribute acts.
On both days there will be activities in Sandbach Park for children to enjoy.
Compared to last year there will be reduced road closures on the Saturday – mainly around the Scotch Common Car Park.
