A SMOKER has been fined for dropping a cigarette butt on a street outside Café Nero.
Julie Casemore, of Stanley Park Grange, off Chelford Road in Wilmslow, pleaded guilty to the littering offence at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court on March 30.
The 52-year-old was charged with throwing down, leaving or otherwise depositing litter outside Café Nero on Chapel Street in Southport on July 16, last year.

Casemore was fined £60 and ordered to pay £142 costs and £24 victim surcharge.
Magistrates gave her permission to pay the £226 court bill at a rate of £5 per week starting on April 27.
