THIS dramatic picture shows a car engulfed in flames near The Smoker in Plumley.
Crews discovered a vehicle well alight on Plumley Moor Road in Knutsford shortly after 7.30pm last night, Thursday.
Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
Part of the A556 from Knutsford to Northwich, near the fire, was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police were at the scene to control traffic.
One fire engine from Lymm attended the fire.
