A CYCLIST has been air lifted to hospital after being seriously injured in a crash.
A man, in his 30s, was involved in a collision with a van.
The incident happened shortly after 10.30am today, Wednesday, on the A535 between Chelford and Holmes Chapel.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 10.39am police were called to a collision with a van on Macclesfield Road at Jodrell Bank.
“A cyclist had come off his bike and collided with a van.
“The cyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken by air ambulance to hospital with injuries which are believed to be serious.”
An air ambulance landed nearby with a medical team as the cyclist lay injured on the road.
The casualty was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Charity confirmed that an air ambulance took the patient to North Staffordshire University Hospital.
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service NHS trust said: "We sent an ambulance, rapid response vehicle and an air ambulance.
"We took the patient by air ambulance to hospital with serious lower body injuries."
Witnesses say that the man was riding with another cyclist down a steep hill on the A535 between Chelford and Holmes Chapel when the collision happened.
The road was closed whilst police and paramedics dealt with the incident.
It reopened for traffic at around 12.20pm.
