THE Royal Cheshire County Show promises to be bigger and better than ever this year.
A special concert is being introduced for the first time to celebrate its 185th anniversary.
Live! At The Show will feature an exciting line-up including 70s and 80s chart toppers Odyssey, Eurovision Song Contest winner Katrina, formerly Katrina & The Waves, 80s soul pop favourites Five Star and 80s boy band Brother Beyond.
The north west’s biggest agricultural show, attracting more than 80,000 visitors, returns on June 20 and 21 to the Tabley showground in Knutsford.
The concert starts at 6pm on the evening of Tuesday, June 20 and admission is included in the ticket price for the first day.
Show director Rob Davenport said: “We’re really excited about this year’s show.
“The wonderful attractions we’re lining up, the fantastic competitions and the special concert which will be included in the cost of a ticket to the show for those attending on Tuesday and members of the Cheshire Agricultural Societey.
“We’re very much looking forward to welcoming everybody to this year’s show.”
Celebrity chef Jean-Christoph Novelli returns to the Roberts Bakery Food Live Theatre.
The power and grace of Atkinson Action Horses in the Mangoletsi ring are set to enrapture spectators.
Showjumping, the Bidlea Dairy Agri-Centre, and Freestyle Motorcross are just some of the many other attractions.
Visitors will be able to see more than 3,000 animals, an array of competitions and demonstrations.
A Farmers Market and chance to shop with small, local and artisan businesses promise to make it a great day out.
