SPEEDING at 100mph on a motorway has landed a driver with a £1,000 court bill.
The case involving Adam Wright, of Edgeway, Wilmslow, was heard at Manchester Magistrates Court on February 22.
The 31-year-old was charged with exceeding the 70mph motorway speed limit.

The court heard Wright was caught on camera driving a BMW on the M60 anticlockwise in between junctions 25 and 24 in Tameside at 101mph on July 11, last year.
After listening to the evidence, magistrates found the case proved.
Wright was fined £660 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £264 victim surcharge.
Magistrates also endorsed his driving licence with six penalty points.
The defendant was given until March 22 to pay the £1,014 court bill.
