BURGLARS ransacked a house whilst the occupant was out of the country.
The man was shocked to discover intruders had broken into his home in Wilmslow and helped themselves to his property.
The resident immediately alerted the police.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “The caller had returned to his home on Moor Lane, having been in America, and reported that he discovered his home had been forcibly broken into and numerous items had been stolen.”
PCSO Jessica Thornley has been carrying out house to house enquiries to reassure residents and to see if anyone heard or saw anyone acting suspiciously.
People living nearby are being asked to check their CCTV cameras in case they may have captured anything which may help the police enquiry.
Residents are advised to keep all property and vehicles secure.
Anyone with information about the Moor Lane burglary should call the police on 101.
