DOGS have become the latest customers to give an award-winning coffee shop a round of ‘a-paws’.
Tatton Perk has transformed its decking outside into ‘Muttsford’ to welcome their furry friends.
Free homemade meaty dog treats are on offer.
Mark Lee-Kilgariff came up with the idea to make pets and their owners feel at home at his two coffee shops on Moor Park and Booth Park.
“We love our four-legged friends at Tatton Perk,” said Mark.

“As soon as dogs are let off the lead at Booths Park, they run straight to our barista Louisa for treats and fusses.
“Their owners turn up five minutes later.”
The coffee shop has teamed up with new eco-friendly dog shop B&V Trading on King Street, who now supplies free compostable poo bags, water bowls and meat treats for Tatton Perk.
“We joined forces with our buddies to look after dogs in true Cheshire style,” said Mark.
“As local businesses, we’ve got to all we can to support each other.
“We’ve also installed a couple of safety conscious ‘dog parking’ hooks to allow customers to grab a hands free takeaway brew.
“Our dog friendly deck is ideal for muddy paws.”
The Tatton Crew dog walking group meets at the nearby King Street car park every Sunday, when there is free parking, and leads a walk around Tatton Park.
The group is open to anyone who wishes to join them and also meets at The Legh Arms car park on Thursday to walk around Booth Park. near Tatton Perk's other shop.
“Bruce Hunter from Tatton Crew bakes biscuits specially for dogs, using lovely ingredients such as local honey,” said Mark, who gives the biscuits to his four-legged friends.
“We hope these little extra Tatton perks make life a little easier as our customers caffeinate with their canines.”
Both coffee shops, he said, have seen a big rise in dog walkers popping in for a brew.
Free parking on Sunday at King Street car park is attracting many people to take a stroll in nearby Tatton Park.
Many dog walkers are also discovering a hidden gem, Lime Walk, a beauty spot near Tatton Perk at Booths Hall Business Park.
