THREE would-be thieves in balaclavas fled from a house at high speed in a 'wheel-spinning' car.
The trio ran off from a property in Oak Lane, Wilmslow at around 3.15am on January 1 before jumping into a vehicle.
Attempts had been made to break into the back door of a vehicle.

Police are now appealing for witnesses.
On social media, a spokesman for Cheshire Police posted: “Three people wearing black balaclavas were seen running from an address on Oak Lane, leaving by wheel-spinning a car towards Racecourse Road.
“A rear door lock was damaged.
“Please review video footage and report any information to the police.”
