Tatton Park has 50 acres of landscaped gardens, the product of almost 300 years of cultivation.

Each generation of the Egerton family played a part in the evolution of the gardens by seeking the expertise of the leading landscape architects of the time.

As one of the most picturesque gardens in England, it shows visitors today an almost complete picture of how it would have looked in Edwardian times.

Each different area of the garden provides its own atmosphere, plant and tree varieties.

Visitors can warm up in the fernery in the gardens or complete the 'footpaths to fitness' parkland trail.

Families can pick up a free winter scavenger hunt to inspire little ones to get hands on with nature.

The half-price parkland entry must be bought online and is available from January 3 to February 10, 2023, from Tuesday to Friday.

Free garden entry tickets are available to book online too.
