A DRIVER clocked speeding has been banned from the road ‘due to repeat offending’.
James Tattum, of Bexton Road, Knutsford, pleaded guilty at Manchester Magistrates Court on November 11 to exceeding the motorway speed limit.
The 49-year-old was caught on camera driving a Volkswagen Caddy on the M60 at speed exceeding 70mph between junctions 22 and 24 on January 25 this year.

Tattum was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for six months ‘due to repeat offending’, the court heard.
The driver was also fined £146 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £34 victim surcharge.
The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into consideration when the sentence was imposed.
Tattum was given until December 9 to pay the £270 court penalty.
