AMERICAN movie actor Will Ferrell had BBC Radio 2’s Zoe Ball in gales of laughter as he struggled to pronounce ‘Knutsford’.
The Elf star was a guest on the presenter’s Breakfast Show on Tuesday morning.
He was promoting his new Christmas film Spirited, in which he stars alongside Octavia Spencer and Ryan Reynolds.
The comedian was reliving his Anchorman role of Ron Burgundy, reading out the travel and traffic news, but ran into difficulty trying to pronounce ‘Knutsford’ and ‘Cheshire’.

The Old School star managed to get his tongue around most places across the UK perfectly as he gave listeners a round up of delays on roads and motorways.
At first, the 55-year-old was a little unsure as he said ‘Cheshire’ for the first time but eventually got it right.
Will then pronounced Knutsford correctly, but hesitated and said ‘Nootsford?’, asking his host if he had said it properly.
Zoe shrieked with laughter at his gaffe but praised the star, applauding him, hailing his confident performance as ‘amazingly well done with no rehearsals’.
The comedy star joked as he replied saying: “I don’t want to take your job, but that wouldn’t be bad.
“I just come in and read some traffic every now and again.”
