POPPY wreaths were laid in the autumn sunshine as Knutsford residents remembered courageous war heroes.
Remembrance services were held across the town on Sunday.
Knutsford Town Council and the Royal British Legion invited the local community to honour the fallen.
The Air Training Corps band led the parade to St John’s Church.
The mayor and mayoress of Knutsford Cllr Mike Houghton and his wife Kate joined civic dignitaries and residents to pay tribute.

Wreaths were laid at the Centennial War Memorial as crowds gathered.
A two-minute silence was observed at 11am to commemorate Armistice Day.
A service at Crosstown Memorial attracted a big turnout.
This was followed by a similar service at Tatton Park Parachute Memorial.
