Director Tony Turner said: ”I’ve always loved the original film and the challenge of directing this production was too good to resist.
“It was written for the stage by Graham Linehan, author of the hit TV series Father Ted and the IT Crowd.
“The cast and crew have been amazing in their response and are still laughing out loud.
“All of the hard work and effort both on and off stage over the last eight weeks has really paid off.
“This is set to be another outstanding production.”
The theatre in Queens Street is only a few minutes from the town centre.
Three plays and a panto are staged every year.
Tickets priced £10 are available from knutsfordlittletheatre.com.
A fully licensed bar will be open.
